The Homemade Easy Cardboard Crusher - H.E.C.C. for short - is the culmination of a semester of work with Dynamic Consulting Solutions. Tasked with streamlining the cardboard recycling process, we developed a residential cardboard crusher that can be shipped flat and assembled by the consumer. The results of user interviews, questionnaires, discussions with subject matter experts, and stakeholder considerations informed the design. Though I made no physical prototype, I developed an interactive SolidWorks model which I used for user testing. The final model and product renders were completed in Fusion360.
