Audi Humidifier
As a two-week-long project for an industrial design class, my professor asked to imagine how the automotive manufacturer, Audi, would design a humidifier. Considering Audi's brand language - fast, sleek, sophisticated, simplistic, etc. - as well as staple features in their car design, a form was developed along with three potential color ways. The humidifiers were modeled and rendered in Fusion 360.
The humidifier's elongated, hexagonal form is sleek, simple, and reminiscent of Audi's Singleframe grill. The mist level is controlled with a touch sensitive strip and displayed in an LED light bar which parallels the progressive lighting that is inherent to Audi vehicles. The water storage nests neatly into the back of the humidifier enabling a continuous, smooth form.
